Presenting EASST educational packs at the RA Ministry of Education and Science
In February 2018 the former Minister of Education and Science signed a decree according to which from now on road safety course is included in the curriculum of 1-4 grades in Armenian schools! Currently the RA Traffic Police together with the respective department of the Ministry of Education and Science are working in the methodology of the course.
On this occasion on September 17, 2018 NRSC Program Manager Tatevik Hovhannisyan met the Adviser of RA Minister of Education and Science Gohar Mamikonyan. During the meeting Tatevik presented NRSC activities especially in the sphere of road safety education and discussed possibilities in combining formal and non-formal education methods in the methodology of the road safety course. And as a tested and effective method EASST education packs were presented, which, most probably will be a part of the course.
Soon a meeting with the Traffic Police will be initiated.
